This was taken at a traditional Indian wedding ceremony. Indian weddings are full of colours and excitement. The photo was taken when at a time when bride puts rice(processed to this form) into the “havan”(you can say a goblet of fire)
I was always obsessed with art, so this new attempt with painting empty bottles was really interesting. And now I think I have painted so many bottles that I have no clue what am I going to do with it. Also every single person around me has started giving me bottles emptied out of their random parties.
So I was thinking I’ll share few pictures of my new found hobby. Do suggest me what more can be done with it or how can these be utilised.
Because life is full of colours and they are free of cost..
Japan in general is amazingly beautiful.
This city of Yonezawa which I happened to visit on a JENESYS 2.0 scholarship program in May 2014. Surprisingly, it was only my host family that took us to this beautiful Buddhist temple in the city.
Calm and quiet. Clean. Beautiful landscaped garden.
There is something about gates and entrances in Japanese culture. Even the pavement is clean and decorated with stories of Yonezawa festival.
People who have lost their child, place these small Buddha shaped dolls in the temple. Sad to see so many dolls, but it’s a part of Japanese culture.
And here is me and my friend with our host family.
Jenesys 2.0 is a really nice program to understand Japanese culture.
